Emergency medicine

I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I plan to be an emergency doctor. Emergency docs have a reputation for being cowboys who will jump in with both feet and try anything which has a chance of saving the patient.

Stereotypes usually have a basis in reality; I would not be surprised if I was the emergency doc who people point to and say "see, its all true" however even I would pause a few seconds before taking to a patient's skull with a Black and Decker power drill.
